Using a handmade glass distillation unit, the scents in and around the city were distilled live and placed back into a model of the city. A juxtaposition between reality and your memories.
During the show the audience were invited to participate in the scented model city by add their own thoughts about the smells encountered in Milan.
I collaborated Kate McLean, a sensory mapmaker, who is currently investigating how smell moves through urban space, combing our skills together we made the perfect collaboration. An interactive scented model city was be truly worth a visit or should I say, a large sniff!
